Dr. Kivett greatly values communications from physicians and other providers (DNPs, NPs, PAs, RNs). A one-minute phone call to him can quickly cut through the clutter of data that needs to be sorted out, far better than the text bite exchanges that seem to bog down our world today. Even if the patient doesn’t ultimately end up in our care, at least some direction toward other providers will achieve the one unifying goal that is common to all providers and that is the betterment of society that comes from the joint efforts of the world of medicine. This is so sorely needed today.
