Wounds, Both Acute and Chronic

We treat wounds of most types, of sudden onset (acute) or of long history (chronic), on any body site and at any depth down to the point of entering a body cavity or other specialized site. Surgeons from the ENT, general, thoracic, vascular, neurologic and other specialty fields at that point are more appropriate, although we work in conjunction with them to optimize patient outcomes.

Typical types of wounds include the following: laceration, abrasion, crush, bite, burn, infection/abscess, stab/puncture, ulcer, sinus tract. Typical sites include face, nose, head and neck, hands and legs and trunk. Typical tissues include skin, muscle, tendons, vessels, nerves, bone and specialized structures).
